I learned documentary filmmaking from story-pitch through post-production working at National Geographic Explorer from 1985-1992. These years set me on my career path - from Production-Assistant to PM, Producer and Cameraman. I left the nest and have worked the past sixteen years as a world-traveling freelance DP/cameraman.

Raised in the east, educated in the south, settled out west, I live in Portland, Oregon with my wife and three young children.
